Faculty head word

The College of Pharmacy at Gharyan University aspires to be a leader and distinguished in pharmaceutical education among the colleges of pharmacy in Libya, to graduate pharmacists with high competence consistent with the needs of the labor market and in accordance with comprehensive quality standards.

The scale of the challenges was very great to establish this college. Gharyan University sought for some time to create it, sensing the lack of the labor market in the Western Mountain region in general and Gharyan in particular for this profession and its basic role in providing health services. The number of pharmacists in this vast geographical area is almost non-existent compared to their number in West and East Coast areas.

These challenges place us, as a college of faculty, staff, and students, with this responsibility to confront them, especially in these exceptional circumstances that our country is going through.

In this regard, the college administration is proceeding with confident steps and distinguished efforts to build this college in a correct manner from the very beginning of its establishment and to achieve the goals of the college by applying the modern foundations of quality and developing the curricula in a manner consistent with the requirements of the outcomes of modern pharmaceutical education and emphasizing the role of the pharmacist.
